Regulations:	Swiss System with 7 rounds, time control: 40 moves in 2 hours + 30 minutes for the rest of the game DGT-2010 clocks are used; time tolerance is 30 minutes. Boards 1 – 3 will be broadcasted live on the internet. Players from the same chess club won’t play against each other before round 4. Swiss-Manager and Chess-Results are used. Masters Tournament: players rated higher than 1800 DWZ without DWZ rated higher than ELO 1900 DWZ & ELO-rated Challengers Tournament: players rated lower than 1900 DWZ without DWZ rated lower than ELO 1900 DWZ & ELO-rated In some cases the organizing committee will decide in which tournament a player participates.

Registration:	Registration should be done online on the tournament website. But registration via telephone, fax or on the first day of the tournament is possible, too. Early registration is advisable because the number of participants is limited to 170. Personal registration needs to be done until 10.30 a.m. on 17th May. Other:	The equipment for the tournament is provided by SCHACHVERSAND ULLRICH. On the first day of the tournament there will be a stand of Schachversand Ullrich until 18.00.
